Power distribution cabinet is divided into power distribution cabinet, lighting distribution cabinet and metering cabinet, which is the final equipment of the distribution system. Distribution cabinet is the general name of motor control center. Distribution cabinet is used in the load more scattered, less loop occasions; Motor control center for load concentration, more loop occasions. Open Power Distribution Cabinets can be installed in production places and offices with low risk of electric shock; Closed box cabinets should be installed in processing workshops, casting, forging, heat treatment, boiler room, woodworking room and other places with high risk of electric shock or poor operating environment;
Sealed or explosion-proof electrical facilities must be installed in dangerous workplaces where conductive dust or flammable and explosive gases are produced.
The electrical components, instruments, switches, and lines of the POWER distribution cabinet should be neatly arranged, firmly installed, and easily operated.
The bottom of the cabinet installed on the ground should be 5~10 mm above the ground;
Operating handle center height is generally 1.2 ~ 1.5m;
There are no obstacles in the range of 0.8 ~ 1.2m in front of the cabinet;
Protection line connection is reliable; There shall be no naked electric dew outside the cabinet;
The electrical components that must be installed on the outer surface of the cabinet or on the Power Distribution Cabinet must have reliable screen protection.
Specifications for operation of power distribution cabinets
1. The power distribution cabinet is the eighth production of the ship's distribution center and the normal operation of the equipment. No irrelevant person is allowed to switch the switch on the board.
2. After the generator set is started, the power screen speed up switch should be used to speed up slowly and manually until the generator enters the normal working state and the voltage and frequency reach the specified value.
3. After the power distribution board enters the distribution state, it is not allowed to pull the speed rise switch of the power panel at will, and the latching switch of the air circuit breaker is not allowed to be used unless in an emergency.
Iv. Parallel operation of generators should be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements and provisions of parallel operation conditions, and attention should be paid to the phenomenon of reverse power (countercurrent) and failure of parallel operation.
V. When stopping the machine, the load of the generator should be cut off first, and then stop the machine without load.
6. When inserting shore power, all power switches of shore power panel shall be cut off first, and then the correctness of wiring and phase sequence shall be checked before the conversion of shore power can be carried out. Operation with load is strictly prohibited.

Viii. When operating the Power Distribution Cabinet of the generator, the engineer should concentrate on the operation and be careful to prevent accidents. Otherwise, he/she will be held responsible for the accident.
9. The charge-discharge board is the ship's emergency Power Distribution Cabinet, and the engineer on duty should check its working condition frequently to ensure sufficient low-voltage power at any time, and master the working condition of magnetic saturation voltage regulator through the instrument on the board.
10. During normal navigation, all switches on the Power Distribution Cabinet shall be switched on to ensure that the generator can be started at any time and put into use at any time when the generator is in response.
